One-on-one | Streaming

In “One-on-one”, sound artist Nico Daleman and dance artist David Pallant use binaural technology to create an audio choreography, broadcast via headphones. 360° soundscapes are built around the listener, and the non-visual medium acts as a gateway to allow new choreographic realities and surrealities to enter. Using the commodification of current therapeutic and meditative practices, we question the emotional and physical boundaries between ourselves and others. As the intimate binaural recordings merge with the external soundscapes, the confrontation of parallel sonic realities begs the question: what does it mean to be inside our own heads?
