Three physically isolated, perhaps weightless performers whose breath and voices take us spectators on a search for community.
HINENI is an interdisciplinary exchange between two dancers and a singer who delve into each other’s professions and discuss female bodies that claim space and presence.
The language of sound can be understood by all [who can hear], the language of movement can be perceived by all [who can see], and the longing for community is something that most people in the world are experiencing right now during the pandemic.
