In its fifth year, the festival once again presents a multifaceted program of artistic positions ranging from contemporary dance to sound art, real-time and electronic music, video dance and improvisation at DOCK11 and in the city space.
Inspired by Morse code, a dancer and a musician create a new sensory language; stereotypes about the body are turned upside down and sensor interfaces create perceptual abstractions.
Baroque scream dance meets mimicry; skin begins to see; breathing and voice take us on a quest for community.
At ZWINK on June 11, the audience encounters an object dance with alphorn in urban space.
A walk-through screening on June 13 at DOCK11 shows dance-music video films from Greece, Mexico and New York, among others.
More than 66 artists:inside can be experienced in 16 pieces and 6 dance music films/videos for the audience on the streaming platform dringeblieben from June 13 - 27, 2021!
With a site-specific research, Floating soundance can be seen and heard live at EDEN Garden on June 19.
The artist talk "Producing inclusively" with the initiative tanzfähig and the audio descriptor Imke Baumann addresses empirical values of inclusive project work.
With "Hand and Foot" the festival has set out to become more sustainable. In cooperation with the Hochschule für Nachhaltige Entwicklung Eberswalde (University for Sustainable Development Eberswalde), we have scrutinized the festival with students and are now implementing the impulses from this intensive dialogue. An online workshop on 18.06. by students in the accompanying program gives an insight.
