Valentina Menz

Valentina Menz: I am currently studying for a Master’s degree in Choreography at the Inter-university Center for Dance Berlin (HZT). I am exploring improvisation as a space that enables the exploration of ways of being together through different strategies and tactics inspired by contact improvisation and afro rhythms. In 2010 I founded, with other collaborators, the Red de Mediación Artística, where I developed art projects and critical pedagogy. Since 2015 I have collaborated as a performer and choreographer in creative and research processes in Chile, Colombia, Peru, and Germany.
