The piece embarks on a dynamic exploration, blending movement, voice, and sound, inspired by the ancient theory of the four humours. Maria Colusi and Edgardo Rudnitzky have been collaborating for more than 20 years, researching and developing performance and installation projects that explore the interplay between the unique narratives of sound and the moving body.

Fil Rouge is a performance in which action and voice bring mythological narratives to life. Through the immediate and dynamic movement of the bodies on stage, choreographies transform into stories – sometimes ordinary, sometimes surreal. Fil Rouge was conceived jointly by seven international dancers during residencies in Berlin and Italy in 2023-24.

Based on the principle that “music equals movement, equals noise”, the three artists are developing a work for baroque cello, beatbox and dance using material from the first two cello suites by J. S. Bach. The SUITE CUBIC was created as the fourth individual work in the ImPuls der Suite series, founded in 2015 by baroque cellist Julia Kursawe, in collaboration with German beatbox champion and runner-up Daniel Mandolini and multiple dance and choreography award winner Yui Kawaguchi.

Aurora is an improvised encounter between movement, music and light.
Choreographer Lina Gómez, musician Alejandra Cárdenas – Ale Hop and lighting designer Bruno Pocheron create a changing landscape in which these elements interact in real time.
