Renate Graziadei
dancer, choreographer
Renate Graziadei was born in Austria and began her dance training in Switzerland. She studied and worked for 3 years in New York, danced with the Nina Wiener Dance Company and in Europe with Rui Horta, S.O.A.P. Dance Theatre Frankfurt, the Hamburg dance group COAX and others. In 1994 she founded the collective laborgras with Arthur Stäldi. Together they realised numerous projects. She has been involved in productions by other artists, including choreographer David Hernandez since 1999 and with Susanne Linke Company in 2016. She has taught at various institutions in Germany and abroad since 1996; she was a répétiteur from 2004-2019 and a dancer with Sasha Waltz and Guests from 2008-2018. Honoured as a distinguished young dancer in 1997 and as best dancer in 2010 (ballett international/tanz aktuell magazine).
