Arthur Stäldi
choreographer, dramaturg
Originally from Switzerland, Arthur Stäldi began his dance training in Lucerne and later Rotterdam. Following engagements at municipal theatres, he led the Hamburg dance group COAX with dancer Rica Blunck from 1989. In 1994, he founded the collective laborgras together with Renate Graziadei. Since then, the two have realised numerous pieces together and collaborated on projects by other artists, including choreographer David Hernandez. laborgras has been in Berlin since 2000, from 2002 to 2023 in the studio on Paul-Lincke-Ufer, where they taught, developed their own pieces and gave space to other artists. Arthur has been teaching regularly since 1996 and has worked as a lecturer, choreographer and dramaturge since 2005.
