In “One-on-one”, sound artist Nico Daleman and dance artist David Pallant use binaural technology to create an audio choreography, broadcast via headphones.

Communion is an experimental screendance response to the isolation and uncertainty we are all facing as artists and humans in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis.

This is the second creation of the choreographic project [Paisajes Coreo-Sonoros].
The piece uses the objects constructed for the stage version [SoundCheck / prueba < el Sonido>], adapting and reinterpreting the exploration of the potential for physicality of sound and the resonance of the body outside.

HINENI is an interdisciplinary exchange between two dancers and a singer who delve into each other’s professions and discuss female bodies that claim space and presence.

We live in a world of things. In some ways we can’t function without them, in some ways the dependence is feigned. If we consider these things, we rediscover our relationship to them, positively and negatively. What role do these things play in a woman’s life, how are we determined by them?

Inspired by Sara Maitland’s text “a book of silence” and fueled by the extraordinary situation triggered by the pandemic, questions were raised – Can silence be visualized? What moves in the vacuum of silence?

By attending to the sensorial exploration of skin, unfolding our relationship to a layer of protection, we become attuned to what we cannot leave behind and the impossibility of being absent from our envelope.
