Mansoor Hosseini

Mansoor Hosseini, a Swedish avant-garde composer, studied composition at Paris Music Conservatory, the Royal Music Conservatory of Brussels and Gothenburg Music Conservatory. He also studied film music at Gothenburg University and script writing at Gothenburg film University. His creations within theatrical music are inspired by martial arts, visual art, contemporary dance and theater. His studies and research with composers such as Yoshihisa Taïra and Georges Aperghis, encouraged him to follow his two composing styles. In 2007 he founded Themus Ensemble, for whom he composed several pieces.
