Alex Noppel
Filmmaker
Born in Mexico in 1976. Graduate in communication sciences with a major in cinema. Master’s Degree in Creative Documentary at the UAB in Barcelona 2002. Founding member in México of the artistic collective Ozumedia, where he worked as documentary film and video installation director. In 2005 he created Tina Perversa, a series of events focused on art, music and fashion. His feature film, “Victorio”, won the award for Best First Film at the Guanajuato International Film Festival GIFF 2008. Currently living in Berlin developing documentary film projects. Besides films, music has been one of his main interests; he has played drums with several bands.
