Mirjam-Luise Münzel studied recorder, baroque cello and viola da gamba in Bremen, Seville, London and Berlin, a.o. as a scholarship holder of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the DAAD. She is winner of the international Biagio Marini Competition, was Handel House Young Artist and Young Artist of the Brighton Early Music Festival, and was awarded at the internat. Moeck/ SRP – Competition, London and Concours international de la musique ancienne Paris with 3rd prizes each. She performs in concert halls and festivals throughout Europe and beyond, conceiving cross-disciplinary projects including an alternative audio guide for the Käthe Kollwitz Museum, Berlin.
