Maria Coma

Maria Coma is a singer, composer, pianist and performer. Their work meets at the intersection of music, sound art, performance and embodiment. Their artistic practice is driven by self-research exploring music from a physical experience – with an emphasis on the human voice. They create and stimulate voice and embodiment practices to develop a decolonized and polyvalent language of vibration. They hold five published solo albums, touring in Spain, Germany, South America and collaborate with a broad type of artists and musicians. They hold a somatic movement educator certification from Body-Mind Centering® facilitating workshops, esp. about voice and vibration. www.mariacoma.art
