Léonard Engel

Léonard Engel is an ex-soloist of the Bavarian State Ballet (Munich) and has been working as a freelance artist since 2016 with choreographers and companies such as Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, Gintersdorfer/Klaßen, Richard Siegal, Paula Rosolen and Laurent Chétouane. In January 2019, Engel presented “Pavane”, his first choreographic work, at the Tanztage Berlin in the Sophiensælen. In September 2019, he created “How to get rid of a body. A magic manual” at HochX Theatre (Munich). In 2021 he will realise a short film project around this last piece, as well as a new project inspired by different revolving dances. leonardengel.com
