Program 2026
In “Schönheit ist Nebensache” (Beauty is accessory), choreographer Pol Pi has created a compelling solo piece based on Paul Hindemith’s Sonata for Solo Viola, Op. 25 No. 1, and Dore Hoyer’s dance cycle “Afectos Humanos”, as well as letters from both artists.
The collaborative work “It’s possible” by Christine Saulut Bonansea and Axel Dörner creates a series of narrative situations that deliberately appear fragmented and disjointed.
In “Limbo Song” by Maria Colusi and Edgardo Rudnitzky, the stage becomes a dynamic space in which body, space and sound function as a single system. Sound and choreography arise through mutual interaction.
“Flos Vanus – Adabana”, from the “ImPuls der Suite” series, tells of the fleeting blossoms of art, of extroverted madness and spiritual asceticism; it celebrates the creativity of women who were ahead of their time. Baroque music meets contemporary dance, created by and featuring Julia Kursawe, Yui Kawaguchi and Anna Fusek.
